We will begin by troubleshooting the issue and providing possible solutions. This may include sending replacement parts along with video installation guides, especially for electronic components such as the motor, battery, display, sensor, light, or controller.
If our support team determines it’s necessary, you may take your e-bike to:
•A local bike shop for repair or to install the replacement part.
•One of our certified support centers. However, you must book an appointment first—arriving without a booking will result in rejection by the support center.
Important:
1.Always contact TENWAYS Support first before taking any repair steps.
2.Because TENWAYS e-bikes use mostly standard components, they can be repaired at most local bike shops.
3.During the warranty period, TENWAYS will reimburse qualified labor costs for installing approved TENWAYS replacement parts at a local bike shop.

So far, so good! I'm really happy with the Tenways CGO800S. It's comfortable and convenient to ride, and the low-maintenance belt drive is a huge plus—no chain maintenance to worry about. The only issue I've encountered is with the battery. On bumpy roads, it can slightly pop out of the lock, so I occasionally need to push it back into place. It hasn't fallen out, but it's something that could be improved. Overall, it's been a great bike, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for an easy, enjoyable ride.

Love to ride it My wife and I bought them a year ago Often maintenance is required but all payd by tenways Often a spoke will snap but after 5 replacement you get a new wheel. When both now have new wheel Wish the new wheel was better quality though because the broken spoke issue is starting again
Ik ben ontzettend blij met mijn Tenways fiets! Hier de grootste pluspunten (voor mij) - Snelle levering - De geïntegreerde display is mooi en overzichtelijk. Fijn dat ik het kan koppelen aan mijn telefoon en ook de routebeschrijving kan zien. Ideaal ook dat ik kan zien hoeveel km ik nog kan fietsen. - De fiets ‘trekt’ moeiteloos op na stilstand. - Maakt weinig geluid. - De fiets is licht, maar voelt ook stevig. Ik had er alleen geen weet van dat ik de fiets zelf in elkaar moest zetten en dat kostte me meer tijd en gepruts dan ik had verwacht. Desalniettemin is het gelukt!! Daarbij vind ik het gek dat er geen ringslot bij de fiets zit, terwijl de bevestiging er wel op zit. Maak de fiets dan iets duurder en gooi het ringslot er dan op. Maar dat is mijn mening!

This bike has been a terrible experience through and through. First, it started with delivery. I could choose any convenient days of when the bike would be delivered. Furthermore, I was warned about the night before, when I couldn’t move an important work meeting. I immediately wrote to the customer support service, but it was completely useless — they responded rather slow and couldn’t help anyhow. Besides, as I lived in a block of flats, the bike was delivered not even to my apartment, but to an open access area, where it could be easily stolen — they responded rather delivery guy even put a signature instead of me like if I would have received it personally. Again, the customer service didn’t do anything about my experience even after writing complaints. Second, I bought specifically this model as it’s a lady bike. I chose it as I wanted to ride it conveniently with skirts. Well, big mistake! A long dress got stuck in a bike chain and I couldn’t take it myself or pull it anyhow. Besides, bc of pedals design, even slightly loose pants get pulled all the time, which apparently makes it convenient to ride only with leggings or slim jeans, but for that I could as well go for a normal bike, which is half the price…For a comparison, I have another, non-e-bike, and skirts and pants never get pulled while riding it. Last but not least, the battery of this e-bike jumps out during the ride! It’s rather scary that I can’t lock it properly and I don’t really know how it affects my safety. The worst thing that it’s not only mine experience, my friends struggle with it too. The bike does ride, not much faster than an average bike (it makes me arrive maybe 5 min faster), and it makes the ride easier (I.e. I put less efforts). But overall, I hate using this bike. Wouldn’t recommend this model to anybody.
Ich habe das Fahrrad seit 1 Jahr, in der Zeit wurde der Motor ausgetauscht (weil erst beim schieben des Rades, später auch beim fahren der Motor quietsche), die hintere Scheibenbremse weil keine Bremswirkung vorhanden war, die Speichen am Hinterrad verstärkt weil eine vor der Inspektion gebrochen war und keine 6 Wochen später sind mit einem lauten Knall 2 Speichen gleichzeitig gebrochen sodass das Rad zum Fahrradhändler geschoben wurde, das Kettenlager weil man die Schaltung nicht so einzustellen war das alle Gänge ohne Störungen liefen. Schon seit Anfang an habe ich nur Probleme mit dem Rad, ob es schleifende Bremse sind die immer wieder nachgestellt wurden aber nach eine Woche wieder schliefen. Oder Knackgeräusche die ich nicht lokalisieren kann. Eine Acht im Hinterrad. Schlecht eingestellte Räder (nicht mittig) auch dies habe ich mehrfach nachbessern lassen. Aber das schlimmste am Fahrrad, ich fühle mich während der Fahrt nicht sicher darauf, so ein instabiles Fahrrad hatte ich noch nie. Man kann nicht einmal freihändig fahren ohne das der Lenker anfängt zu eiern. Ich bin bereits über 5000 km damit gefahren, leider bin ich noch 2 Jahre (Jobrad) daran gebunden, da man nicht aus dem Vertrag raus kommt. Sonst hätte ich diese Fahrrad schon längst zurückgeben. Positiv ist die Optik, insbesondere das Display welches im Lenker verbaut ist. Reichweite mit Akku in der ersten Stufe sind 80 Kilometer mit einer Ladung realistisch. Ich kann diese Fahrrad leider nicht weiterempfehlen
We have 2 Tenways CGO800S, both having problems mostly with the battery giving errors, but also motor or LCD-display not turning on. The first bike is not even 1 year old and is now in it's 4th revison: once battery lock was blocked, so that was fixed in 15 minutes, but now 2nd time in revision for over 2 weeks as replacement battery did not solve the problem (LCD-display not turning on). The other Tenways CGO800S is just 6 months old and last week motor just stopped working while biking; turning off and on again solved, but I lost complete confidence in Tenways!
Meine Frau und ich fahren beide seit 2023 ein CGO800S und haben fast 3000 km auf dem Display. Damals war ein ebike unter 20 kg noch eine Seltenheit und ich habe das Rad nach langer Recherche gefunden und im Internet- Handel direkt gekauft. Noch nie gab es irgendwelche Probleme mit dem Antrieb. Trotz Singlespeed sind leichte Steigungen kein Problem. Im ersten Jahr gab es ein kleines Problem mit einer fehlenden Vertragswerkstatt in unserer Stadt, aber jetzt haben wir eine gefunden. Der Kunden- Service ist überragend! An meinem Fahrrad ging ein kleines Teil verloren. Nach einer Email und 4 Tagen war das Problem auf Kulanz geregelt. Herzlichen Dank. Wir können das Rad und die Firma nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Without insurance, this bike would have been a financial catastrophe. The most consistent issue is motor overheating. After 20 minutes of riding, the motor starts whining and loses responsiveness. In summer this makes the bike practically unusable, the very season you want to ride most. It performs better in winter, simply because the cold air keeps the motor from overheating as fast. What concerns me most is the systemic nature of the problem. My mechanic told me they see this model breaking down regularly, and that getting technical support or parts from Tenways is difficult, meaning repairs take longer and cost more than they should. If you're considering this bike, factor in recurring repair costs and the real possibility that it will be unreliable in warm weather.

Ganz eindeutig zum weiterempfehlen. Super Fahrrad
The bike is very nice, the motor is powerful and reaches 25km super easy, even 30 if you put on 5 and pedal a bit more. Not giving 5 stars just because the bench is not so comfortable, i will for sure change mine, and the lack of an adjustable height handlebar is also a weak point.

Hallo, ich habe das Fahrrad nun fast 3 Jahre und bin ca. 5000 km gefahren. Das Gewicht und die Einfachheit machen das Rad zum Highlight, allerdings gibt es 2 Mankos. Bei starkem Gegenwind oder am Berg, kann der Motor schon mal wegen Überlastung aussetzen. ZUdem gibt es bei einigen Serien ein Bug. beim 71- igsten Ladezyklus geht das Rad bei 60% aus, bis man den 72-igsten Zyklus erreicht hat. KOmisch aber wahr. Bei mir wurde dann das Display aus Kulanz getauscht. Danach war es weg. Soll lt. Händler am Display liegen. Sonst ist das Rad für das Geld Top.
I'm absolutely in love with this bike..! And i got the newest Edition! Every day I take it out with a huge smile.. It's light, it rides smooth, integrated navigation display, integrated backlight.. Belt.. Seemless shifting. 5 power modi. Love de dark color. You are able to easily reach 25km in 1, with the bare minimum amount of effort.. Well, at least i can and do.. The power of this bike is insane. Especially 5,the boost mode. I rarely ride on 4 or 5. Average is modus 2. Full battery got me bit over 100km. The power support doesn't fall out on 25km, it just reduces it, so you can still reach over 25 km.. With some pure strength. So this bike works for you, it adjusts the power according to your strength. So it looks like and I feel like i fly without any effort, but feel the strength in my legs while I'm doing it. I have to charge maybe once every two weeks. The bike itself even corrects my body position, especially my slightly outward bowed legs, it puts them in de prefect riding position, as well as my whole body. So to me this is more than a bike. Unfortunately no Smart Connect.
Ich habe das Fahrrad jetzt über 3 Jahre. War bis jetzt zufrieden, obwohl ich nur 60 km statt 100 km gekommen bin. Aber jetzt komme ich gerade 20 km. Das Rad geht dann bei 60% einfach aus und lässt sich nicht mehr einschalten. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir nach langem hin und her geraten mir ein neues accu zukaufen. Aber mein Rad hat gerade erst 2500 km runter. Natürlich dumm gelaufen für mich da die Garantie abgelaufen ist.
J'utilise (assez peu) ce vélo depuis un an. Au départ, l'usage est bon, l'assistance variable selon la puissance désirée est bonne et fait bien ce que l'on attend de cette assistance qui s'arrête lorsque que l'on dépasse les 25hm/h. Parfait. Mais justement, quand la vitesse augmente au-dela de 15/20km/h, c'est la stabilité qui diminue avec une roue avant qui devient molle et qui a tendance à guidonner. Impossible notamment de lacher completement le guidon : c'est la chute presque immédiate. Cela donne un sentiment d'insécurité qui augmente avec la vitesse. Autre point négatif : les pneus qui ont tendance à se dégonfler assez rapidement d'une fois sur l'autre (même à 3 ou 4 jours d'intervalle). Bref, ce vélo est correct (un peu lourd) mais avec ces deux points moyens.

Es ist alles soweit gut. Der Versand hat ziemlich gedauert mit knappen drei Wochen. Doch das Fahrrad war schnell und einfach zusammen zu bauen und es wurde alles mitgeliefert
I've had the Tenways CGO800S for a year now and it's become my default way to get around Amsterdam. The ride is effortless; the motor assistance is smooth and doesn't feel artificial, and the belt drive means virtually zero maintenance compared to a chain bike. What stood out beyond the bike itself was the support experience. I ran into a couple of issues and Tenways' customer service was responsive and solution-oriented, not the kind of back-and-forth that usually comes with consumer electronics brands. Problems got resolved without friction. If you're looking for a clean, minimal e-bike that actually delivers on its promises, the CGO800S is hard to fault.

Ik moet heel hard mijn best doen om boven de 22 kilometer te komen met een gewicht van 65kg op vlak fietspad en zonder wind. Klopt dat wel aangezien ik hier lees dat men met weinig inspanning 25 km aantikken

The bike rides very nicely and feels powerful as soon as you start pedaling. The support kicks in quickly, making it easy and comfortable to ride. It’s also very comfortable overall, with a relaxed riding position. In my experience, the battery seems a bit weaker than expected, as it doesn’t last as long. Still, it’s a great and comfortable bike to use.

Sinds kort eigenaar van een CG800S, echt heel erg tevreden over de fiets! Ik heb de front carrier erbij gekocht, vind het wel een - punt dat tenways geen mandje/kratje verkoopt wat hier inpast. Het is namelijk niet een standaard maat voor een kratje en heb tot nu toe nog geen 1 gevonden die er mooi in valt. Zou zeker een pluspunt zijn als ze dit zouden toevoegen aan hun accessoires.

Ik rijd inmiddels een tijd op de Tenways CGO800s en ben er ontzettend tevreden mee. De fiets voelt strak afgewerkt en ziet er modern en minimalistisch uit, precies zoals veel reviews al aangeven. De stille Mivice‑motor, de Gates riemaandrijving en de hydraulische schijfremmen maken elke rit soepel en probleemloos, vooral op vlakke trajecten waar deze e‑bike echt uitblinkt. Wat mij persoonlijk opvalt, is hoe natuurlijk de ondersteuning aanvoelt dankzij de koppelsensor — je hoeft er eigenlijk nooit over na te denken. Dat sluit perfect aan bij wat andere testers ook noemen. Kortom: de CGO800s bevestigt in de praktijk precies wat de reviews beloven. Een fijne, stille en onderhoudsarme stadsfiets waar ik elke dag met plezier op weg mee ga.

Great e-bike. Loving it so far
Vélo reçu en 2 jours. Montage réalisable mais dommage que la notice papier ne soit pas multilingue. Je m'attendais aussi à recevoir un vélo avec les clignotants comme ceux vu sur internet. Dommage ils n'y sont pas.

Ik heb de 800plus en rijd ermee door heuvelachtig Zuid Italië. Het is een fijne degelijke fiets en ik gebruik hem als vervanging voor de auto voor kleine boodschappen. Helaas is de fiets erg ongebalanceerd en al met een paar boodschappen begint het stuur erg te wiebelen, echt ernstig. Is daar iets aan te doen? Misschien voorop meer gewicht dmv een rek/mand? Ik ben zelf nog geen 60 kg, dus daar kan het niet aan liggen.

The bike with front suspension is very comfortable! do not need to worry about active position when having a heavy backpack!

I bought a Tenways CGO800s just under 3 years ago, it got stolen a few weeks ago. But I’m so loving the bike, that I bought exactly the same again. And this time with a bigger and thicker chain lock.
