Michele's "Leap of Faith" with TENWAYS

Michele is an IT specialist who loves biking, 3D printing design, and manga. He always describes himself as being "untrained", yet he is no stranger to breaking some sweat. When the TENWAYS CGO600 first launched on Indiegogo, he took the "leap of faith" with no hesitation, and became the first customer of TENWAYS.

How did you meet TENWAYS?

At that time I was frustrated about getting a new bike. At first, I was looking inside physical shops, but they all required me to wait for 6 months or more. One day I saw the Facebook ad of the CGO600 campaign, and was instantly attracted to their offer: a lovely design, a more than affordable price tag (for super early bird) for an e-bike, and some great specs!

I know that backing projects on Indiegogo are sometimes risky, but TENWAYS has earned my trust from the very start. I can't say the exact reason why, but I think I have enough experience to tell if a project is genuine. There are many reviews about the CGO600 online, and they all mentioned that it was more than a concept or prototype. The CGO600 was already in full production even before the project started. That was very impressive for a new company.

Your story with TENWAYS

I was totally amazed when receiving my CGO600: The ride is extremely smooth and silent, and it is more than enough for doing moderate climbs. On weekdays, I ride back and forth to the office (it’s about a 14 Km round-trip), with almost no slopes. On the weekends I also ride for longer distances (20-40 Km) to nearby places. I love the CGO600, as it is perfectly tuned for my needs.

I joined the TENWAYS official Facebook group in August, and the group admins there are super nice and helpful. When talking to the TENWAYS staff, be it on Facebook or via support email, it always feels both caring and personal. I’ve got the impression that TENWAYS really cares about being friends with people like me: not pretentious, caring for the environment, living in a city, and trying to enjoy the beauty and convenience of it. For me, this is invaluable. 

What do you want to say to TENWAYS?

I am looking forward to new models, maybe with extended ranges and maybe a tiny bit more technical bikes with shifting gear. Also, the TENWAYS App still needs a lot of improvements, and I wish that the shop can sell more replacement parts. Lastly, and again, I really love how friendly and supportive the TENWAYS team is, and I wish them to keep up the good work!
