Introduction
Back in March, we kicked off our EU city tour 2025, beginning with the Netherlands, then journeying through Belgium, and finishing with a bang in Germany.
This event allowed attendees to see and ride our most popular TENWAYS e-bike models amongst the ambience of each city, each with a plethora of activities, giveaways and community-focused fun!
Let's dive into the highlights.
The route
Our EU tour began on March 26th in the Netherlands with Utrecht, known for its picturesque two-tier canal system and werfkelders, before moving on to the lively and vibrant Amsterdam. In mid-April we journeyed to the royal city of The Hague, before finishing off with the beautiful waterfront promenades of Rotterdam.
From April 30th, we moved on to Belgium, starting with the capital of the world's diamond business and art-centric Antwerp, followed by the picturesque winding canals and Gothic architecture of Bruges.
As the weather warmed up by early May, we landed in the medieval jewel, Ghent, and finished with the cosmopolitan streets of culinary, political, and scenic wonders in Brussels.
For the final part of our tour, we covered a powerhouse of cities in Germany: the mighty Cologne, stylish Düsseldorf, industrial and historic Dortmund, mining heartland Bochum, the cobblestone streets and gabled houses of Münster, the lively port of Hamburg, and creatively-charged Berlin.
Interactive activities
It wouldn't be a TENWAYS tour without some activities! In each city, we held test rides so that our visitors could hop on our TENWAYS e-bikes for a smooth ride. Visitors also had the chance to sign up via QR code to win two brand-new TENWAYS e-bikes.
Discount codes for our online store were up for grabs, and in the Netherlands and Belgium, we had a ball toss game with merch and prizes for winners, alongside live music and DJ sessions that turned each stop into a lively street party.
For our thrifty, mindful e-bikers, we held an on-site bike repair service in Utrecht, with free tune-ups and basic repairs from our friendly mechanics.
Artist collaboration
In Germany, we teamed up with Berlin artist Kati Szilágyi (@katiszi) for screen-printing and live portraits (and Kati also got to sneak in a few e-bike test rides, too!).
Participants were able to choose between three exclusive visuals designed by Kati and have them screen-printed on tote bags right at the booth for a personalised, memorable keepsake.
On select days, Kati also joined us on-site to create hand-drawn portraits of visitors, giving them unique artwork to take home and commemorate the event.
Branded giveaways & local business collaborations
We collaborated with a range of beloved local businesses in each city, from cold brew coffee specialists Wakuli in the Netherlands and Belgium, to the delicious pizzas of Tinys Pizza in Germany.
It wouldn't have been a stop in Amsterdam without local legends Tony's Chocolonely, or ROA, the first Dutch oat milk brand, both in line with the ethical and sustainability focus of the tour.
For our guests needing a midday boost, we had Nocco's functional BCAAs- and vitamin-packed drinks during our NL&BE stop and Apollo Coffee Roasters' freshly-brewed cups during our Germany stop.
Of course, ice cream was a must towards the end of the tour in the warmer months, which Zenner Eis & Kaffee provided with their artisanal touch.
A TENWAYS tour is nothing without EU!
We're delighted by the success of our tour, but more importantly, by the opportunities it gave us to meet like-minded e-bikers and sustainability enthusiasts across multiple vibrant cities and communities.
Being able to collaborate with local brands and artists to promote a cycling-centred lifestyle has been an incredible experience, especially seeing participants become familiar with our e-bikes and immersing themselves in the overall sense of community.
